Biography

Joséba Sánchez Zabaleta, born in 1970 in Cistierna (Spain), is a self-taught painter associated with New Spanish realism.

His works are part of private and institutional collections and have been included in the permanent collection of the recently inaugurated Museum of Contemporary Spanish Realism (MUREC) in Almería.

Currently, Sánchez Zabaleta creates his paintings from Gaucín, in Malaga, where he has a dedicated space for exhibiting his works
